We live and work in the same neighborhoods we remodel — the brick ranches off Wayne Road, the split-levels in Taylor and Westland, the newer builds out in Canton and Van Buren Township. We know these homes. Many were built in the 1950s and ’60s with a single small bathroom, a cast-iron tub and plumbing that’s been patched more than once.
That’s why 824 Home Services focuses on one thing: bathrooms. Bathroom remodeling, luxury acrylic showers and bathtubs, and walk-in tubs — done properly, behind the walls as well as in front of them. Every project starts with an honest conversation in your home and a written, itemized price, so you know exactly what you’re paying for before we touch a thing.
Michigan bathrooms take a beating — long winters, closed windows and steamy showers mean moisture has nowhere to go. We build with that in mind: properly vented exhaust fans, mold-resistant materials and sealed, grout-free wall systems that stay clean for years.
Whether you want a quick refresh or a total transformation, we handle design, demolition, plumbing, installation and cleanup — start to finish.
Turn a dated, cramped bathroom into a space you love walking into. We redesign the layout, update plumbing and finish every detail.
Custom-measured, high-gloss luxury acrylic systems with no grout lines to scrub — plus rain heads, niches, glass doors and benches.
Bathe safely and independently again. Low-threshold doors, built-in seating and therapeutic jets — sized to fit your existing space.
Deep-soak, freestanding and alcove luxury acrylic tubs that hold heat and clean up in seconds.
Swap an old tub for a roomy, low-step shower — often in just two days.
Grab bars, seats and barrier-free entries designed for comfort at every age.
Out with cracked fiberglass and stained tubs; in with a seamless, modern system.
Most bathroom falls happen stepping in or out of a standard tub. A walk-in bathtub removes that high wall entirely. You open the door, step in a few inches, sit comfortably and fill the tub around you. For many families across Wayne County, it’s the single upgrade that lets Mom or Dad stay in the home they love.
Step in over just a few inches instead of a 15"+ tub wall.
Chair-height seating so you never have to lower to the floor.
Warm water and air jets to soothe sore joints and tired muscles.
Textured surfaces, grab bars and secure footing throughout.
Not every bathroom needs a full gut job. Here’s how our most popular projects compare, so you can choose what fits your home, timeline and budget.
Out with the stained, cracked tub or fiberglass stall — in with a clean, modern luxury acrylic system custom-fit to your existing footprint. The fastest way to a bathroom that looks new.
Our signature project. Premium wall panels in tile, marble or stone looks, a slip-resistant base, built-in shelving, rain shower head, seat and frameless or framed glass door.
Freestanding soaking tub, curbless walk-in shower, double vanity, heated floors and lighting — a reimagined layout designed around how you actually use the room.
No surprises, no mess left behind. Here’s what working with your local Romulus bathroom remodeler looks like.

Every bathroom is different, so we price each one in writing after a free on-site visit. A tub or shower replacement is our most budget-friendly option, a 2-day luxury acrylic shower sits in the middle, and a full custom spa bathroom remodel is our biggest project. You will always see an itemized price before any work begins. Request your free estimate.

Most luxury acrylic shower and tub-to-shower conversions are completed in as little as two days. A full bathroom remodel typically takes one to two weeks depending on layout changes, plumbing updates and finishes. See our step-by-step process.
Absolutely. A walk-in tub replaces the tall tub wall with a low-threshold door and a built-in, chair-height seat, so bathing is safer and more comfortable. We measure your doorway, floor and water heater during your free safety assessment so the tub fits your home. Explore walk-in tubs.
We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards and checks.
